Presently Aqua Dyn - Auroville has 26 employees who sustain about 60 to 80 of their family members in the neighbouring villages. We can thus assume that the subcontracting creates an income for about 20 persons, bringing the number of persons whose subsistence depends on Aqua Dyn to 100.
Extensive research on the purification and dynamisation of water led AQAV to devise new technology and manufacture instruments to build very large capacity units for water treatment. Aqua Dyn - Auroville has installed these large capacity units in the following:
In communities inside Auroville, including one unit at AQAV's office providing 4,000 to 5,000 litres of drinking water daily to the inhabitants of the neighbouring villages.
In Bailakuppe near Mysore, where some 25,000 Tibetans who took refuge in India reside. Several large capacity units have been usefully located near the temples, schools and health centres. This is of special significance because the Tibetans are specially sensitive to the vibrational quality of water.
At Bodhgaya in north India, where Buddha received his Enlightenment, AQAV units have been provided near the main temple.
At Dharamsala in the Himalayas, where the Tibetan government in exile is located, about 40 AQAV units of various capacities have been installed. To mention specially, one unit is has been installed at the residence of His Highness the Dalai Lama.
In several Tsunami-struck villages along the Coromandel Coast.
Other units created for supplying water for agriculture and livestock breeding, domains in which dynamised water gives astonishing results in terms of growth rate and health
of vegetables and animals.
Spread over the Indian sub-continent, more than 40 units meant for community use have given quality drinking water to the satisfaction of its consumers. The total production of dynamised water from all these units amounts to approximately 1,00,000 to 1,20,000 litres/day with an estimated 50,000 people drinking Aqua Dyn - Auroville water in India. In India, about 250 small capacity units (Fontaines Mélusine) are already in use for family needs. It has been observed that in India, Aqua Dyn - Auroville water is very often shared with neighbours and friends who do not have AQAV installed in their homes!
