It usually evades classical laboratory measures and its evaluation calls for the objectivisation of facts which diversely lend themselves to it.
According to E. Guillé: "All these energetical levels of reality in which the mind and the psyche operate are very little known and we don't as of yet have fine enough equipment to detect them. It is therefore in this field that it is fundamental to confront the traditional data, whatever they are, to the finest and most recent scientific data, without preconceived ideas and without falling either into the trap of verifying the traditional status quo at all costs or of systematically refusing traditional methods of investigation, on the pretext that they greatly differ from our modern methods."
We find ourselves here on the frontier between the physical world and the world that Plato called "metaphysical", which is adjacent to, but distinct from, the physical one.

Nevertheless its effects can be objectified in various ways, by a series of "readings" on the frontier of what we have just talked about.
